What's New At....

Lots of exciting things have been happening over the past few weeks. Praise God!
Last night we had a really encouraging Movie Night, a real spread of ages and mix of Cheadle-based people and returning students [thanks Phil G]
This afternoon we got 15 along to Parrs Wood for bowling and ten of us went to Burger King afterwards = a great time was had by all and I got lots of useful feedback.
The students have all been given Prayer Requests card so that they can keep us in touch with where they are at, and we can pray for them.
The main reason I write though is to tell you about 24:7@5:30pm. Basically every Sunday the Upper Room will be open and some of us will be meeting together, having some food (pizza from the freezer and juice) and chatting with the people that come, all before going to church at 6:25pm.
The people I have mentioned it to so far sound really keen - a real mix of people: those involved in St M's and those very much on the periphery - so it would be great if quite a few of us could come along fairly regularly as well. Clearly busy/family people like myself may struggle to commit to every week, but once or twice a month for each of us should be do-able. The scope for this session is great - not least for information sharing and gathering. Please pray for it and come along when you can! First week will be either this coming Sun 18th [I'll let you know John A and Sarah S] or definitely the one after.
As the profile of 24:7 is raised in church this is leading to a number of encouraging (and challenging) conversations with all sorts of people. Are you getting much feedback too? Let's keep feeding this through so we don't miss people out for future events. Especially people that want to be included on our email directory.
