Fish, Chips and Film Nights are held fairly regularly. The idea is that we meet up in the Upper Room at around 7:30pm, get a takeaway (fish & chips / indian / chinese / italian / chicken / kebabs are all very nearby), watch a film, chat about it and generally spend some time together socially.
We provide the film, drinks and nibbles. You provide the company and your own food.
Films we've seen so far include The Matrix, Pay it Forward, The Bourne Identity, Love Actually and Anger Management. If you've got a great idea for a film (or want to offer a bribe), let Rob Paulton know.
Any other questions, ask Daniel Hill.
And yes, we do have all the necessary licenses to show DVDs on a big screen in the Upper Room, so you can come with a totally clear conscience. (Well, sort of, but that’s something we may get along to during the evening’s conversation…)
